W Hayman letter re concern about the sanitary conditions on locomotives

C Koutroumanos reported MS Golden perform a thorough trimming of coal MT’s going to the mines.  On their return the loaded movement, MS performs a quick trimming.  These are the only MS services on the BCI.  Other trains going across the Service Area are handled at either Alyth or Coquitlam depending on their origin.  These trains by-pass Golden and are therefore not serviced by MS on the BCI.

B Gardali reported there is a concern with regard to the weight of packs that RTEs have to carry with all their rule books, etc

D Harder contacted S Sabatini for advisement to elevate to Policy Committee.   Sergio has requested Committee forward their recommendations with regard to what needs to be downsized, etc.  Paul & Bob to followup. P Bede requested units have instruction decals installed for the new radios as the way the radios are installed on the unit you can’t get access to them.

Bob reported the Kamloops Bunkhouse has been very full lately and crews are having to utilize track side rooms which are very noisy.  He has requested sound level testing be done

B Gardali with pursue sound level testing with Facilities / K. Sholes. Test conducted. Should see recommendation and course of action by Facilities next meeting. TMS E Palasz has a concern regarding a  recent published “all employees” bulletin pertaining to rule changes.  He is concerned rule change information is not getting to all ES employees.
