Canadian Pacific Railway – Lines Western Canada

$500 Bursary

Both General Committees of Adjustment – CP Lines Western Canada have established a bursary program. A maximum of twenty, $500.00 bursaries will be distributed to assist students who: 1) graduated Grade 12 by June 2006 and will be attending a Post-Secondary Institute within Canada in 2006; or 2) are already attending a Canadian Post-Secondary Institute and will be enrolled in the fall 2006 semester. Eligibility: spouse, child, stepchild, grandchild or step-grandchild of any “active” (defined as of January 1, 2006) TCRC member within the jurisdiction of either Western General Committee may apply. There is a limit of one bursary per family.

Complete this application form and attach a student prepared essay. The essay should be no more than two typed pages, using 12-point font, double-spaced, with one inch margins.

Subject of the essay:

“In your own words, briefly tell us what Unionism means to you and

what it has meant for your family”.

Should you be the recipient of this Bursary, a proof of registration will be required.
