K1P 5N2Dear Brother Secord:
Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers
VS
United Transportation UnionFurther to my letter of November 24, 2003 and the telephone call from Michael McIsaac of todays date, I wish to confirm that, if the UTU fails to advise me by 5 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2004, first level sanctions will be imposed pursuant to Article IV, Section 15 (1) of the CLC Constitution.
These sanctions will invoke denying to the UTU any and all services of the CLC such as the transfer procedure and attendance at all education functions and conferences. It also means that UTU representatives would not be able to participate on any CLC committees or working groups and the UTU cannot avail itself of the justification procedure.
I look forward to your positive response.
In solidarity,
Ken Georgetti,
President
