Agreed Practise in effect at Revelstoke, B.C., between Division
657, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, and Canadian Pacific
Railway Company.
This Agreed Practise is supplemental to the Golden Zone Agreement
and except as nessesary for the implimentation of this Local Rule,
the Golden Zone Agreement shall apply.
This Agreed Practise supersedes all previous agreements in regards
to the manning of positions at Golden.
This Agreed Practise shall be incorporated into the existing Local
Rules and shall remain in effect until revised or terminated on
sixty (60) days written notice by one party to the other.

AGREED PRACTISE #2
1) This does not protect Golden Locomotive Engineers from being
displaced by another Locomotive Engineer who wishes to exercise
his seniority under article 17 (a) if he is cut back to a
trainman.
This also does not protect Golden Locomotive Engineers from
being displaced by another Locomotive Engineer who has been
displaced from an assigned job and wishes to exercise his
seniority under article 26 (g).
Locomotive Engineers at Golden who are cut back to trainmen may
excersise their seniority at Golden as trainmen in preferance to
Revelstoke as an engineer.
Locomotive Engineers at Golden who are working as trainmen shall
not be forced to fill Locomotive Engineer jobs at Revelstoke.
2) Permanent Vacancies
Permanent vacancies at Golden will be filled by the senior
Locomotive Engineer not set up at Revelstoke only after all
ESB's at Golden are set up in Locomotive Engineer positions.
3) Temporary Vacancies
Temporary vacancies at Golden will be filled by the senior
Locomotive Engineer from Revelstoke or Golden requesting the
vacancy.
If no Locomotive Engineer requests the vacancy the senior
Locomotive Engineer at Golden who is not working as such will
fill the temporary vacancy.
If there is no Locomotive Engineer requesting the temporary
vacancy and no cut back Locomotive Engineer available at Golden
the work will be manned by the Revelstoke Spare Board under
spare board rules.
4) Ad Hoc Vacancies
Ad Hoc vacancies will be manned by the Locomotive Engineers
spare board at Golden should one be established.
If no Locomotive Engineers spare board is established at Golden
the Locomotive Engineers Spare Board at Revelstoke will be used
for all Ad Hoc vacancies.
Should the Revelstoke Locomotive Engineers spare board be
depleted Locomotive Engineers at Golden who have requested extra
work under article 4, clauses 5 or 6 of the collective
agreement.
Should there be no Locomotive Engineers requesting extra work,
Locomotive Engineers working as trainmen at Golden will be
called in seniority order to fill the vacancy.
Locomotive Engineers at Golden working as trainmen will not be
called for Locomotive Engineer work elsewhere on the Revelstoke
Division.
