Subject: Calling Mountain Reliefs out of Revelstoke
In discussion with Local Chairman Edwards (whom is copied on this message), while the Golden Pool Agreement does not go into detail regarding which pool (Golden or Mountain) will cover reliefs for different trains, and states restriction does not exist, we would like to call Golden engineers for coal reliefs and Mountain engineers for other Field Traffic, and when double turns are called (crews should always be called in double turns as it is a good practice), we should look at the first train to be relieved and if it is a Golden Train, then call a Golden Pool Engineer.
Remember the decision rules work in such a way, that when the Golden Pool is depleted, the spareboard is used, then the Mountain Pool and Shuswap Pool .
Thanks.....Jack
